Darren Clarke believes Tiger Woods

Open champion Darren Clarke believes Tiger Woods could be the man to beat at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational this week, despite the American having spent three months on the sidelines.
In this article, I would like to talk something about Darren Clarke with Tiger Woods! If you want to know much more golf clubs reviews or golf news, you may read this funny article about TaylorMade R11 Driver For Sale Review.
Clarke and Woods, who have been close friends for a number of years, have been paired together for the opening two rounds at Firestone Country Club, as Woods looks to make his comeback from a serious knee injury ahead of next week’s USPGA Championship – the final major of 2011.
Having spent so long out of action few expect Woods to be a serious challenger come Sunday afternoon in Akron, despite having won the tournament seven times before in his career, but Clarke is unwilling to write off the 35-year-old.
“It’ll be very interesting the first two rounds. And knowing Tiger like I do, I don’t think he would come back to play unless he was ready to come back and play, both physically and mentally, and ready for the challenge again,” Clarke said. “I think Tiger Woods could be a hard man to beat this week because of his record around this golf course.
“He loves it so much and has played so well here before. I wouldn’t be surprised for one to see him have a really, really good week.”
Seemingly such different characters when studied from afar, Clarke couldn’t resist a joke when asked what it was about the pair that made them such good friends.
“I give him a little bit of stick and what have you. Nobody really … I don’t think anybody gives him that much stick. But no, he’s been a very, very good friend to me over a very long period of time. I’ve got no idea why, but we just get on very well.”
“Because beneath it all, beneath all the stuff that’s happened, self-inflicted or otherwise, he’s essentially a really good kid, a man, beneath everything,” he said. “You know, sometimes his media image has been portrayed in a very poor way, some of that, again, from some of the stuff that he’s been through.
“But underneath it all, he has been a tremendous friend to me, and there’s a real good side to Tiger Woods that nobody ever unfortunately gets a chance to see. That’s why.”
As for his own chances this week and next, Clarke is prepared to take things as they come.
This article is from Golfsales365.com, I would like to recommend the good TaylorMade golf - TaylorMade R11 Driver (also known as the R11 Driver) to you.
“I don’t know what to expect yet,” he said. “I just hope I play as well as I did at St. George’s. It took me a long time to win the first major, and hopefully I get myself back up there and contending again. That’s what my plans are.”

Tiger’ Ex-Caddie Write Chapter on Former Boss

Tiger Woods returned to his first tournament after nursing an injury for three months on Thursday, amid some personal criticism from NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley.
In this article, I would not talk something about Tiger Woods’s news. I would like to tell you Tiger Woods’ Ex-Caddie Williams to Write Chapter on Former Boss! If you want to know much more golf clubs reviews or golf news, you may read this funny article about TaylorMade R11 Driver.
Woods’ comeback appearance took place at the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. With a highly publicized new caddy in tow, Woods spoke about his injured leg last week.
“I don’t feel a thing,” Woods said earlier this week. “It feels solid, it feels stable, no pain. As I said, that’s one of the reasons why I took as long as I did to come back is that I want to get to this point where I can go ahead and start playing golf again like this.”
However, the tournament was cause for Woods’ name to be the topic of conversation on an ESPN New York radio show with Mike Lupica and Barkley on Wednesday. Barkley expressed disappointment in Woods’ recent decisions, including one to fire his longtime Caddie, Steve Williams.
“It’s been very frustrating to watch everything that has transpired,” Barkley said on Mike Lupica’s ESPN New York 1050′s show. “Getting rid of Steve Williams was probably the last straw for me.”
Aside from parting ways with Williams, Barkley said he is confused and upset about Woods parting ways with his 15-year friendship, claiming they haven’t spoken in two years.
“You think you’re friends with a guy. You talk to him once a week for 15 years. You’re like, this dude is my friend, we do things, we have fun together,” Barkley said on the ESPN radio show. “I haven’t talked to him in two years and I’m wondering what…is going on.”
Despite the criticism from the former NBA legend, Woods received support for his first golf appearance in three months. Lebron James, an Ohio native and All-Star NBA player, took to his Twitter account to show Woods support.

How To Hit A Golf Ball Far And Straight

How To Hit A Golf Ball Far And Straight
Learning how to drive a golf ball well is a challenging task. It can take time and consistent practice to become effective at hitting this club. The reason why the driver is the toughest club to hit is because it is the longest club in the bag which makes it the most difficult one to control. cheap golf clubs
Also any small flaws in your swing can result in big variations in the end result so the driver will reveal how finely tuned your swing really is.
Do not expect to become perfect at hitting a driver as even the best golfing professionals regularly mishit this club. Instead focus on developing enough consistency to allow you to hit enough fairways with enough distance so that you can then use your short game to make more birdies and shoot low scores. It is important to learn how to hit a driver far and straight because golf courses are getting longer and tougher so you need both distance and accuracy.
The good news is that there is a direct relationship between hitting a golf ball accurately and hitting it farther. If you consistently hit your driver straight then ping K15 irons in time you will also hit the ball far. Remember that crooked drives do not go very far so the first step in hitting a driver further is to focus on accuracy first. You need to develop a swing that consistently strikes the golf ball solidly.
In order to develop an accurate golf swing you must have great control over the club. This means that you will need to develop a more relaxed swing where you do not use your muscles to try to force more club head speed in an effort to hit the ball further. Use your muscles and strength to support your golf swing but let the club do most of the work.

James Nitties wins Midwest Classic

James Nitties wins Midwest Classic
Australia’s James Nitties won the Midwest Classic on Saturday for his first Nationwide Tour title, shooting with a 6-under 65 for a five-stroke victory.
Nitties fired a closing six-under-par 65 with ping g20 driver seven birdies to win the Midwest Classic in Overland Park, Kansas by five strokes at 26-under 258.Fellow Newcastle product Nick Flanagan tied second with Sweden’s Jonas Blixt after a 68 and would have had second place money on his own but for a bogey on the last.
Nitties is playing the secondary tour after losing his main tour card last season but appears set for a swift return as his $US99,000 first prize money lifted him from 63rd to 12th on the money list.
“I’ve been waiting for this one for a while,” said Nitties, who spent the past two seasons on the PGA Tour. “It seemed like everything went my way this week. It was my day today. There’s still a lot of golf left to play this season, but this puts me in good position to get back to the tour.”He opened with rounds of 65, 63 and 65 and finished at 26-under 258 at Nicklaus Golf Club ping K 15 irons at LionsGate.
“Usually I’m a streaky putter,” Nitties said. “I’ll putt good for one round and then not hole anything the rest of the week. This week, I actually holed the putts I should hole and then made the most of my opportunities.”
It’s been four years since Flanagan won three times in a season on the Nationwide Tour to earn instant promotion to the main tour.He only lasted one year there before dropping back.

Padraig Harrington give great support on Tiger to pass Nicklaus

Padraig Harrington give great support on Tiger to pass Nicklaus
Padraig Harrington still puts his money on Tiger Woods breaking Jack Nicklaus’ record 18 professional majors.
Harrington played the opening two rounds of the PGA Championship with Woods, who missed the cut. Even so, the Irishman saw him hit enough good shots to realize his game will not be gone forever.
“I still believe when he turns up and plays well in a given week, I think he’s well capable of winning any major he plays in,” Harrington said Tuesday. “He still has a good ball flight. He still hits it well with the help of r11 driver. Once he puts it together in a given week, he can win and will going forward. … OK, it wasn’t his week that week. But when it is his week, he will win again.”
Harrington said the difference now is that if something can go wrong with Woods on the course, it will. Woods was atop the leaderboard through five holes of the opening round and one tee shot into the water changed everything. He opened with a 77 and finished outside the top 100 in a major for the first time.
“This is what I would have seen at the PGA,” Harrington said. “Certain he played better, much better than his score. Whereas when he was on top of his game, he always scored really well. It was very rare that you would ever see Tiger Woods walking off a golf course with ping g20 driver where he had not got the most out of his round, where he certainly didn’t at the PGA. He got the minimum out of his rounds.”
Harrington said Woods appeared frustrated with the technical part of his game, which did not surprise him. Harrington knows better than most, since he always is tinkering with his swing.
“When you’re kind of happy with your game, you tend to get the most out of it,” he said. “You feel like you shot 70 and you end up shooting 68. And when you’re not happy with your game, you feel like you shot 70 and you end up shooting 72. I experience that myself a lot. That’s kind of what I see in Tiger’s game.”

Neosho committee questions golf transfer

Neosho committee questions golf transfer
A proposal to pay down Neosho’s golf course debt with part of the proceeds from a one-eighth-cent capital improvement sales tax that now funds economic development was not well received by wholesale golf equipment some members of the Economic Development Sales Tax Committee on Tuesday.
Council members and city staff reviewed roughly half of next fiscal year’s proposed budget Tuesday, with finance director Martha Mundt explaining the numbers as councilmen asked questions and provided insight and direction. The process will resume at a second budget work session scheduled for 6 p.m. next Tuesday at the Civic.
The municipal golf course dominated much of Tuesday night’s discussion.
The city says discontinuing its current contract with golf pro Justin Beck to independently manage the course would reduce overhead and increase revenue. But some council members, namely Ruth, argued that any potential dollar savings might very well be eaten up in employee benefits.
A revised opinion on the purpose of the economic development tax has classified it as for capital improvements. Prior to this revision, the tax had been used to not only build spec buildings to attract industry, but also to pay for r11 driver an annual chamber contract to help the city market itself around the area and at trade shows. The new definition came during the process of budget cuts. As they reviewed this year’s proposed budget, committee members noted their input was not solicited this year and hinted the administration’s non-inclusion of the governing committee smacked of the previous administration.
During the meeting Tuesday, sales tax committee member Larry Neff introduced a motion to block the use of the sales tax revenue to finance baseball or softball diamonds or a water park. The motion passed 3-2, with Hart and Davidson voting against it.
Hart, at a City Council meeting last month, had asked Moore for an estimate of the city’s cost to build cheap Golf Clubs For Sale baseball and softball diamonds on the former golf course land, but there hasn’t been any public talk of a water park. As part of their austerity measures, city leaders previously cut youth sports programs and turned most of them over to the Freeman Southwest Family YMCA. Some city leaders have been trying to get the programs resurrected since then as money allows.
At a budget work session later Tuesday with council members, City Attorney Steve Hays said the city’s proposed transfer of sales tax revenue from economic development to golf course debt would be legal. He said that under state law, park maintenance and improvements are considered capital improvements, and golf courses fall under the definition of parks.

Money Could Not Buy Tiger’ Character

A couple of recent experiences got me thinking about character and how much it matters in determining life’s outcomes.
In this article, I would like to talk something about Tiger Woods. If you want to know much more golf clubs reviews, you may read this funny article about TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver review.
As I watched last weekend’s tournament, the big news was that Tiger Woods, once generally assumed to be headed for the title of Greatest Golfer Ever, did not even make the cut, likely concluding his worst year since he began playing professional golf — and that was shortly after he learned to walk. Actually, he made his television debut with a golf club when he appeared on the Mike Douglas Show at the age of 2 and shared the stage with Bob Hope.
Whether golf fans or not, most people know the Woods story. He won more golf tournaments at a young age than anyone ever had. He married a Swedish model and had two lovely children. He played around with lots of other women and his marriage ended spectacularly, involving, appropriately, a golf club and car collision with a fire hydrant.
Since then, his career has been in danger of becoming as big a failure as his marriage. He summarily fired his longtime caddy, who had stood by him through his troubles, and it is said he has abandoned high-profile friendships that flourished when times were good.
But the saddest of all, it seems to me, is that Tiger seems to have lost his spirit.
True, he has always been somewhat controversial, brash and self-assured to a fault. Yet, his exotic good looks and his amazing talent gave way to a popularity that in many ways eclipsed golf itself.
Now, the television announcers and sports analysts are left to talk about Tiger’s ignominious fall from grace instead of his ball-crushing swing or his incredibly accurate touch with a putter.
In the end, it just might come down to a matter of character. It seems that Tiger believed his press clippings even before he could read, and he saw himself as invincible long after he should have learned a little humility.
If only Tiger could live the words of Albert Einstein, who once said, “Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.” Golf is not life, even for a Tiger Woods. There has to be something more.
There are lots of ways to define a person. There are the physical attributes like height, weight, eye color. You know, the stuff they put on a driver’s license.

Oliver Fisher is an English professional golfer

Oliver Fisher is an English professional golfer.
The twenty-two-year old Englishman Oliver Fisher won his first career title at the 2011 Czech Open in Čeladná after five years spent on the European Tour.
In this article, you may find the news about Oliver Fisher. If you are looking for good and discount golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good TaylorMade R11 Irons to you. At first, you may know the basic information about Oliver Fisher!
Fisher was born in Chingford, London. He was a winner of the Faldo Series, Nick Faldo’s development programme for young golfers, in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and as such was regarded as one of the best prospects of his generation. Now, Oliver Fisher wins the 2011 Czech Open.
“The successful cut on the sixteenth was decisive. The tournament was very emotional for me, but I enjoyed it as well,” Fisher said and commented on his seventeen straight events without making it to the final rounds. “Golf is a very frustrating game. I just kept telling myself I’m only 22 and have to look at everything in broader context. I should be happy for playing at the tour at all.”
Fisher’s first appearance in the Czech Republic dates back to 2006 when he played as an amateur at the St. Andrews Trophy tournament in Mariánské Lázně. A year later he already joined the European Tour. He was seventeen at that time. Of the big trio McIlroy – Ramsay – Fisher he was the last one without a tournament title. “I feel certain relief but I never bothered myself with that too much,” the pro admitted.
He was awarded the trophy by the Czech president Václav Klaus, who pointed out that the event is a great promotion for the country. “It’s a great honour for me. I was telling myself that golf must be really important for people in your country,” added Fisher, who will finally have a chance to taste Czech beer. “I heard it’s strong.”

Adam Hadwin Takes Golf Success

Adam Hadwin is a Canadian professional golfer, now he hits a tee shot on the sixth hole during the final round of the Canadian Open at the Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club on July 24, 2011 in Vancouver, Canada.
Congratulations, Adam Hadwin!
In this article, I would like to talk something about Adam Hadwin and his golf success. If you are looking for good Golf Clubs For Sale  from uk golf direct, I would like to recommend the good Ping G15 Driver to you.
Surrounded by former NHL stars, preparing to tee it up in Tuesday’s Pro Am for the Canadian Tour Championship at Ambassador Golf Club, Adam Hadwin confessed something that could come as a shock to the red-and-white, maple-leaf clad nation that’s already anointed him as the country’s newest golf darling.
“This might hurt the Canadian public, but I’m not a huge hockey guy,” Hadwin said. At five-foot-nine and 157 pounds, maybe that shouldn’t come as a big surprise. It’s certainly not a surprise on the level by which Hadwin, the 23-year-old from Abbotsford, B.C., has taken Canada’s golfing world by storm. In three trips to the PGA Tour, Hadwin has banked $302,440.
“It’s an absolute honour,” Hadwin said of the attention. “People don’t want to interview you unless you’re doing something right.”
Hadwin knows that for all he’s accomplished, many kilometres remain to be travelled along the road to the top. While he’s earned $354,366.19 this year, the 2010 Canadian Tour rookie of the year has recorded just one win this season, in the Canadian Tour’s Colombia Tour Championship last March.
He’s eighth overall on the Canadian Tour’s Order of Merit, the fourth-rated Canadian player.
“I’ve got to play my best to win. You can’t go around this Tour playing your B or C game and come out a victor. The competition is so good, any guy can win any week. I’ve got to keep grinding, and do my best.”
Already, he’s eyeing the upcoming PGA Tour qualifying school, but recognizes that making the grade won’t be easy. Of the six Canadians currently on the big Tour, not one qualified for the FedExCup playoffs. Hadwin knows the elements of his game that must be razor sharp to make it in golf’s big leagues.

Family Is Important for Laura Diaz

Laura Diaz is an American professional golfer; she thinks family is more important than golf!
In this article, you may find the news about Laura Diaz. If you are looking for good discount golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons to you.
The 36-year-old from Scotia, New York, shot a first-round, 4-over-par 76 on Thursday, leaving her tied for 137th. With two bogeys on the front nine then a birdie, bogey and double bogey on Nos. 15-17, she’s in a hole deeper than a Scottish bunker, only the top 70 plus ties in the field of 155 making the weekend cut after Friday’s second round.
Diaz’s husband, Kevin, arrived late at Summerlea in ’02. Not this weekend – as he has done since the birth of the couple’s son, he is on Diaz’s bag, replacing divots and cleaning clubfaces while dispensing advice and offering a shoulder in equal parts.
Their children are familiar with Tour travel, but Cooper’s start in school this week and a three-hour change in time zones from last weekend’s event in Oregon made it more practical for them to skip Montreal.
“We’re big on Skype,” Diaz said of the Internet’s popular video-conferencing program.
She is probably not alone in that regard. According to the LPGA, Diaz is one of 14 mothers entered in the Canadian Open, their 19 children ranging from infancy to age 20.
“It’s hard, missing Cooper’s first day of kindergarten,” Diaz said of her son, who’s torn between his love of swinging a club, mooching clubhouse candy and tooling around in a golf cart. “But at the same time, everybody has to go to work and do what they can to provide for their family. This is what we’ve chosen to do, so we make the best of it.
“I’m blessed that we have my parents, who are my kids’ second parents, to be able to do what we do, Kevin working with me as a team out here. If we choose to leave the kids at home, they’re with two people who love them, if possible, more than we do.”
Family has changed everything for Diaz, a superb collegiate player out of Wake Forest who has earned $5.1 million as a pro and four times represented the U.S. in the Solheim Cup.
“For me, it’s changed because I have kids. It’s a totally different world for me than it was when we last spoke. Back then, I didn’t even think I wanted children. Clearly, that’s changed.”
“I just hope I can continue to maintain the balance to do what I love, for as long as I can do it.”

For Leopold, Golf Is Crazy

Today, golf is a great sport enjoyed by millions of people around the world. For most golfers, golf game is not only a fashion sport, but also one of the best exercises.
So, I think golf is a crazy golf game! Golf is a crazy game for Bobby Leopold too! In this article, you may find the news about Bobby Leopold. If you are looking for good and cheap golf clubs, I would like to recommend the TaylorMade R11 Driver to you.
The No. 64-seeded Bobby Leopold played his way into the third round of the U.S. Amateur on Thursday, knocking off Harris English 4 and 3 in match play. English, from Thomasville, Ga., was one of the more established players in the field after he won a Nationwide Tour event in July.
“I think everyone on a given day can kind of beat each other,” Leopold said. “Harris didn’t have his best day, probably, and I had a good day. That’s golf. That’s the way it pans out. It’s a crazy game.” Maybe good Golf Clubs for Sale can bring a good day.”
“I kind of had aspirations to turn pro,” said Leopold, who grew up in England but now lives in the United States. “When I looked at the life I had, and the life I wanted, I decided I didn’t want to turn pro.”
After two rounds of stroke play earlier with the Cheap Golf Clubs in the week, the remainder of the tournament is in bracket-style, match play format.
Weather delays earlier in the week have changed the tournament’s schedule. Players with their irons who hadn’t completed their first round Wednesday finished up Thursday morning, and the second round was played later in the day. The third round was moved from Thursday afternoon to Friday morning.
Leopold made the field as an alternate and didn’t find out until early last week that he’d be playing in the tournament. Now he’s playing a field packed with young players who still might harbor professional ambitions.
“I don’t really feel that old, but I guess 26 is the old guy,” Leopold said.Despite pulling off a pair of upsets, Leopold doesn’t really consider himself a giant-killer.
Leopold was born in Albany, N.Y., but grew up near London. He moved back to the U.S. to attend college, and briefly thought about trying to go pro.
“I spent two months down in Florida playing as an amateur by myself,” Leopold said. “I don’t know. It wasn’t fun. Golf wasn’t fun any more.

Tiger Woods Will Play California Tournament

Tiger Woods, who started the season at No. 2 in the world, dropped to No. 38 in this week. But, some golf fans still believe that Tiger Woods would be back!
Now, Tiger Woods has made good on his promise to play a fall event ahead of the Presidents Cup. Woods announced he will participate in the Frys.com Open. In this article, you may find the news about Tiger Woods. If you are looking for good wholesale golf equipment, I would like to recommend the good R11 Driver and TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons to you.
The event is scheduled to begin Oct. 6 and is played near Stanford, the university that Woods attended. Woods already received an invitation from Fred Couples to join the national team in the Presidents Cup. That invitation was extended after Couples asked Woods to participate in a Fall Series event. It looks like that is now a reality.
After missing out on the FedEx Cup playoffs, the season for Tiger Woods figured to be over. Woods has seen limited action this season due to injuries. When he has played, it hasn’t been pretty. After a nice showing at the Masters, Woods played nine ugly holes at the Players Championship. After long break, he returned to break par once in four rounds at the Bridgestone Invitational. The following week saw him miss the cut at the PGA Championship. Clearly, playing this event should benefit his game. Woods is in bad need of a strong performance. This additional tournament provides him with a chance to make an impact on the golf course.
This is the first time Woods has played in the event. The defending champion is Rocco Mediate, the man Woods beat in memorable fashion for his last major win in 2008. Wouldn’t it be something if the two appeared in the final group of this event? That might be wishful thinking, but it does bring a new level of excitement to the tournament. I don’t see Woods winning, but it would be good for him to play well. He hasn’t put together a complete performance in a long time. Woods is a golfer that was once in contention all the time. This event gives him a chance to feel that again. Who knows, it might be just what he needs.

Phil Mickelson’s Old Putter might be on the way out

The longer putters have been getting more attention this year, especially after Keegan Bradley became the first player to win a major with one at the PGA Championship.
Phil Mickelson is one of the best golfers; Mickelson leaning toward using belly putter is big news at TPC Boston.
In this article, I would like to talk something about Phil Mickelson and belly putter. If you are looking for good and cheap golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good Cheap R11 Driver to you.
“Yeah, it is funny,” Mickelson said. “You can always learn, and he putts it extremely well, and it rolls so nicely off the face.”
It didn’t work out for him during the pro-am when Mickelson took 34 putts, including 18 on his opening nine.
“I was a little shady with it on the front nine, but a little bit better with it on the back,” he said. “Look, I don’t mind trying new things. I’ve hit two drivers and no drivers, and I don’t mind trying something different. We’ll see.”
One week later, he is willing to try it in the second FedExCup playoff event. Mickelson dropped five spots to No. 11 in the standings. The idea is to at least get into the top five before the Tour Championship at the end of the month as he tries to win the FedExCup and the $10 million prize for the first time.
Plus, he won the Deutsche Bank Championship in 2007 and considers the TPC Boston “one of my favorite courses we play all year.” The third playoff event is at Cog Hill, one of his least favorite courses.
Mickelson has not been among the top 50 in the tour’s new “Strokes Gained” putting statistic since 2006.
Johnson said he would have to see Lefty holding a belly putter to believe it.
“Is he using a belly right now? I doubt he’ll putt with it,” Johnson said. “But as good as the guys that are using bellies are putting right now, I’ve thought about it. So it certainly doesn’t surprise me.”

Congratulations, Gary Christian

Gary Christian is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the Nationwide Tour.
Englishman Gary Christian calls himself a blue-collar guy. Maybe that’s why he seems to play some of his best golf in Pennsylvania.
In this article, you may find the news about Gary Christian. If you are looking for good cheap golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good Cheap R11 Driver to you.
Christian has never played on the PGA Tour in his career.
“I think it was just meant to be this week,” he said. “I kept saying to myself … it’s my time. I’ve paid my dues. That last drive stopped 6 inches short of going on the water (on No. 18), that one got chipped in, I had a couple other lucky breaks in the week. And that’s what you’ve got to have.
“I said earlier in the week sometimes you play really good and need a couple of breaks here and there, and that’s the difference between first or sixth or seventh or 10th on this tour. So, it was my week this week.”
Christian got his first big break Sunday on the par-3 14th. He pushed his tee shot, an 8-iron, to the right of the green then scuffed his second shot. But he managed to chip in for par to maintain his lead over defending champ Kevin Kisner and John Mallinger, who were both playing in his group.
He came to No. 18 with a two-shot lead on both Kisner and Mallinger after Mallinger bogeyed 17. All three players hit their drives in the rough to the right, and Christian’s drive came to rest just inches from a creek.
Both Kisner and Mallinger hit poor approaches that came up short of the green, while Christian got his ball out cleanly. His shot landed just off the green to the right, and with both Kisner and Mallinger without hope of a birdie, Christian needed only to get in the hole in three shots or less.
Hit chipped to within 4 feet, then left his par putt just a fraction short. It didn’t matter. His tap-in bogey gave him the one-shot victory.
“I seemed to have perfect yardages on every hole,” he said. “Sometimes when it’s not meant to be, you’re always in between clubs and always trying to manufacture something.
“I’m biting my lip a little bit and I might be struggling. I’m not usually at a loss for words, but this might be one of those rare occasions,” Christian said. “It’s like a dream come true.”

Recommend the Radi-Eye Putter to Everyone

Today, golf is one of the most popular sports around the world! But, learning about golf isn’t easy.
As a golfer, you have to choose the right wholesale golf equipment to suit your golf swing, and you may also know how to improve your golf skills! It can be quite difficult to figure out how to get the power you need to drive the ball far enough down the fairway-and it can take years of practice to gain good golf swing skills. However, learning to accurately and easily use golf putters can take even more golf training.
With golf being as much a player-see, player-do game as there is, golfers around the globe are checking out long putters these days.
Now, the long putter is very hot! In this article, I would like to recommend good golf putter to you. If you are looking for good and discount golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good TaylorMade R11 driver (Cheap R11 Driver) to you.
Ho to choose right golf putter? Well, check out the face of the putter while you are experimenting.
Precision Putting Products — a small company in Concord, N.C., consisting of three people — is hoping to change the face of the game when it comes to putting. After four years of research, development and testing, their latest product – the Radi-Eye Putter – features a classic blade design but a slightly rounded radius face.
The design – which conforms to USGA rules – is patent pending and its developers insist the design will eliminate up to 4.5 degrees of push or pull during a putt.
But don’t take their word for it. Go to okgolfsales.blogspot.com to see a video shot in slow motion that shows what the ball does after being struck by the Radi-Eye Putter. As the video shows, the ball leaves the putter face on a perfect line when stuck perfectly. The video also shows what the ball does when it’s not struck with the center of the face. Yes, it maintains the original line with miss-hits.
The putters are 100% milled from one solid piece of 1018 steel and can be customized to fit all golfers. And yes, with its weight coming in at around 360 grams, P3 can even customize the putter to be a long or belly putter.
Is a great putter? You may try it! Thanks for reading my article; I would also recommend the good TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons and TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver to you!

Nick Faldo Thinks PGA Tour Quite Good

Nick Faldo is an English professional golfer on the European Tour who now mainly works as an on air golf analyst. Over his career, he has won six majors: three Open Championships and three Masters. He was ranked the World No. 1 on the Official World Golf Rankings for a total of 98 weeks.
In this article, you may find the news about Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods. If you are looking for good and cheap golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good R11 Driver to you.
“Tiger was obviously the most dominant player for 15odd years, while Phil (Mickelson) and Ernie (Els) have had very good careers but they’re overshadowed by Tiger,” said Faldo, who is in Saskatoon for a two-day stop Wednesday and Thursday for a charity fundraiser, the Drive for Kids Campaign.
“Winning three or four majors is not quite the same. Now everybody is jumping on the bandwagon to win a major and who’s going to be the next star in winning multiple majors. It’s tough.
“But the golf is good.” Faldo says the top 40 golfers have a chance to win any time they’re out there.
“There are a good 20 guys – which is probably more than there was before when they always talked about the big five – and there are 10 or so very good golfers and another 10 or so who are really good. Out of that (bottom group of 20), there’s another 10 who can really win as well. (In total) there are about 40 guys who have a chance to win most of the time. And they’re pretty colorful. Actually, we’ve got some good characters. There’ll be a few guys to watch next year.”
“The new shocks might be Jason Day, people like that. This Keegan Bradley, when he can hit 350 yards off the tee, that becomes very useful. And if you can hole-putt from the side of the green like he did on No. 17 (in the PGA championship at Atlanta), that was impossible. Just about everybody else three-putted and he holes it. Hey, maybe he’s got a little something special.
“I think it’s a really good time. The Tour is actually pretty interesting.”
Right now, there is no itch to play on Champions Tour. “I don’t have the time,” he stressed. “With TV golf, I’m out there already, on the road, with 20 tournaments there. These other business commitments, I do all the other stuff. You can’t just say, ‘I’ll practice for a week and go play,’ because these guys are doing it all the time. If I can find a putting stroke, I can think this might be fun again, if my putting improves. I can still hit the ball pretty darn straight, but you’ve to be able to putt or you don’t enjoy anything. It’s too hot in Florida even to practice putting. When it cools down, maybe during the winter, I might spend a whole month and just putt every day and see what happens.

Luke Donald is a British professional golfer who is the current World Number One, he has spent over 100 weeks in the top-10.
In this article, you may find the news about President Barack Obama. If you are looking for good cheap golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good R11 Driver and ping g15 driver to you.
Q. If I told you at this time last year you’d be world No. 1 coming into this week with Tiger 48 spots behind you, would you have questioned my sanity at all?
Luke Donald: Probably (laughing). Yeah, obviously there’s been a lot of change, especially in the World Rankings. But that’s how they work; if you don’t play and you don’t perform, you’re going to drop down, and if you play well and consistently, winning tournaments and having high finishes, you’re going to climb up that World Ranking pretty quickly, and that’s obviously happened to me.
Q. What do you think of the Player of the Year race? It seems like there’s half a dozen guys, including you, in the mix.
Luke Donald: Yeah, more incentive to play well and hopefully win the event. I think, again, it is a little bit open. There might be a few guys that probably have more of a shout than others. But I think a win this week would sway a lot of people’s minds. No one has really dominated as much as they have when Tiger was winning. A couple guys won a few events, two events, but there’s no clear-cut winner, and I think the guy who wins this week, especially if it’s out of the bunch of guys that are in contention for it, I think he’s got a good shot.
Q. Could you just tell me your strategy on how you attack the 11th hole?
Luke Donald: 11th hole is a slightly uphill par-3, a mid-iron, somewhere between 7- and 5-iron, depending on the pin locations. The big key here is not to short side yourself. Those front right pins, if you hit it right, the green slopes away from you and makes it very tricky. Good, solid, conservative targets, just giving yourself uphill putts hopefully.
I think that’s one of the things around this course at East Lake, you need to put yourself in the right positions and give yourself good looks.

Rory McIlroy Is Ranked World No. Three

Here is the newest Top 10 of the golf ranking:
1. Luke Donald (ENG),
2. Lee Westwood (ENG),
3. Rory McIlroy (NIR),
4. Steve Stricker (USA),
5. Dustin Johnson (USA),
6. Martin Kaymer (GER),
7. Jason Day (AUS),
8. Matt Kuchar (USA),
9. Phil Mickelson (USA),
10. Adam Scott (AUS)
Congratulations! Rory McIlroy’s third takes him to three in the world!
In this article, you may find the news about Rory McIlroy. If you are looking for good and cheap golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good Cheap R11 Driver to you.
Rory McIlroy reluctantly accepted moving to a career best of World No 3 as a “consolation” after finishing third in the KLM Open in Holland.
McIlroy birdied three holes in succession early on but failed to capitalise before also birdieing his closing two holes in a final round 67 for a 10-under-par tally on the rain-sodden Hilversum course.
England’s Simon Dyson claimed his second Race to Dubai victory in six events — after winning July’s Irish Open — courtesy of a 66 for a 12-under-par total, one clear of compatriot David Lynn (68).
McIlroy has replaced Martin Kamyer as No 3 in the world after the defending KLM Open champion missed the Dutch cut.
“Finishing third this week is a consolation more than anything, and it’s nice to have two thirds in a row because going into last week I wanted to improve my world ranking,” said McIlroy.
“But my competitive spirit is such that I would rather have gone to third in the world by winning this week.”

Vinny Giles Plays with a Long Putter

Long putter is hot! You know, Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson both used the long putter!
Vinny Giles, a legend in amateur golf, this week called the United States Golf Association “gutless” for its failure to ban the clubs — and he plays with a long putter.
In this article, you may find the news about Vinny Giles. If you are looking for good wholesale golf equipment, I would like to recommend the good Callaway X22 Irons (also known as the X22 Irons) to you.
“Why they’re so gutless, I don’t know,” Giles told Golfweek. “But we, as the USGA, should definitely outlaw those putters,” Giles added. “There’s no issue, as far as I’m concerned. Nerves are part of the game. Crutches aren’t, and these putters are crutches.
“That’s coming from somebody who uses one. It’s a lot easier for somebody who doesn’t use one to make that comment. I’m 100 per cent in favour of a ban of them.”
The 68-year-old Giles, a native of Lynchburg, Virginia, is one of only a few golfers to win both the U.S. Amateur (1972) and British Amateur (1975). He added the U.S. Senior Men’s Amateur in 2009 to join Bill Campbell as the only golfers to win both major U.S. amateur titles.
Giles also heads up a new sports management company in Palm Beach County, Florida, dealing with corporate executives, tournament sponsors, golf-equipment manufacturers and the game’s governing bodies. He previously was owner and president of a golf management firm in Richmond, Virginia, which represented Tom Kite, Davis Love III, Lanny Wadkins, Beth Daniel and Meg Mallon.
Giles has played with the long putter for the past eight years, but would switch back to a conventional length putter if he had to.
“I wish the USGA had the guts to outlaw them,” he said.
The USGA has yet to respond to Giles’s comments, and it likely won’t, but the issue of using belly and longer broomstick-style putters — especially on professional golf tours — isn’t going to go away any time soon.

Tiger Woods Will Not Go Away

Will Tiger Woods ever be Tiger Woods again? Jack Nicklaus says Tiger Woods ‘not going to go away’ and can still beat record for major titles.
In this article, you may find the news about Tiger Woods with Jack Nicklaus. If you are looking for good wholesale golf clubs, I would like to recommend the good K15 Driver to you.
Jack Nicklaus isn’t counting his 18 chickens. In South Korea for an appearance Friday, he said Tiger Woods can still beat his record for major championships, with one big if.
In an interview with the Associated Press, the Golden Bear said Tiger has to get “the five inches between his ears squared out” before he can continue his run at history.
“I mean Tiger has a great work ethic, he’s a great competitor, the most talented kid on the planet right now,” Nicklaus said. “He’s not going to go away.”
Nicklaus, of course, never had Woods’ troubles or had gone as long without winning at a similar stage of his career. Nicklaus went winless in ’79, when he was 39, four years older than Woods is now. He won two majors in 1980 and went winless in ’81, ’83 and ’85 before winning the 1986 Masters at age 46 for No. 18 and to bring the number of his PGA Tour victories up to 73.
Woods, at first stalled by knee surgery and then by scandal and further injury, is stuck on 71 PGA Tour wins (including 14 majors) and hasn’t won anywhere since the 2009 Australian Masters. He failed to qualify for this year’s FedEx Cup playoffs and will make his next start Oct. 6-9 at the Frys.Com Open in San Martin, Calif. He’ll play in the Australian Open the week before the Presidents Cup.
Nicklaus, a former Presidents Cup captain, also agreed with Fred Couples’ decision to make Woods one of his two captain’s pick in this year’s event.
“How could you not pick him?” Nicklaus asked. “I mean he’s Tiger Woods, he’s the best player in the game. He may not be playing his best today, but he’s still Tiger Woods.”
Nicklaus made the comments while in South Korea to attend the Songdo IBD Championship at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club, which he designed.

Golf grips which provides faster grip lose is considered to be best golf grips! So, it is important to get a proper grip on your golf club and keep your correct golf grip!

There are 3 main types of golf grips Overlapping, Interlocking and Baseball and these steps should be followed whichever type of grip you choose.
Golf Grip Tip 1:
To begin gripping your club correctly rest the club head on the ground facing your intended target. Keep the club upright by resting it on the forefinger of your right hand and have your thumb holding the club in place. Your left hand should be hanging down naturally by your side.
Golf Grip Tip 2:
Now open up your left hand and make sure the palm is facing towards the club, move your hand to the club and rest the club shaft across your palm. Ensure the handle of the club rests diagonally across the middle of your left forefinger.
Golf Grip Tip 3:
Close the fingers of your left hand and hold the club in place, you should now move your right hand away from the club so only your left hand is holding the club.
Move your thumb of your left hand so it is lying flat and straight down the club handle. It should be resting a little bit to the right of the centre of the club.
If you follow these steps and continue practicing them, then I am sure in no time your golf swing will improve and you will be shooting lower scores round the golf course.

Keegan Bradley, Jason Dufner Paired again

Keegan Bradley and Jason Dufner are paired in an important golf tournament in Atlanta. Sound familiar?
In this article, you may find the latest golf news about Keegan Bradley, Jason Dufner. If you are looking for good wholesale golf equipment, I would like to recommend the good Cheap R11 Driver and Ping G15 Driver to you.
Keegan Bradley shot an opening round 6-under 64 to take the first-round lead at the Tour Championship on Thursday at East Lake Golf Club.
Dufner is tied for second after an opening 4-under 66. Just 39 days after the two squared off in a playoff at the PGA Championship, won by Bradley, they will be the final pair again Friday. Chez Reavie and Luke Donald also finished with 66s, but Dufner carded the score first to finalize the familiar duo.
“I think it’s really cool,” said Bradley, who birdied five of his final 10 holes. “I saw that Jason was playing right in front of me today, and I think that’s going to be really fun.”
For his part, Dufner said he is unlikely to think much about what happened at Atlanta Athletic Club last month.
“Maybe not flashbacks, but it will be interesting if we are paired [Friday],” said Dufner, who began his round with birdies on three of the first four holes. “Maybe some thoughts here or there will come back and forth.”
While each is a long shot to win the FedEx Cup, the crown of the PGA Tour playoffs, the irony isn’t lost on the two. Neither are the memories of the city.
“The people in Atlanta during the PGA were unbelievable to me, and they’ve been unbelievable to me again this week,” Bradley said. “For whatever reason, they’re really, really nice to me, and I really appreciate it. Without them at the PGA, I probably wouldn’t have won.”
For his part Dufner doesn’t want sympathy for his runner-up performance in the year’s final major.
“I told a lot of people, don’t feel bad for me,” Dufner said. “There’s nothing to feel bad for. I was in a great situation; it didn’t work out. I’ve got a lot of good things going on with my profession and my life, so don’t dwell on the negative things.
“It wasn’t a negative experience for me. I feel like a lot of people feel like it was, but there are worse things to happen than losing in a playoff and finishing second in a major.”
The Bradley-Dufner pairing also was not lost on the others in the field. This article is from okgolfsales.blogspot.com, i would like to recommend the TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons and TaylorMade SuperFast 2.0 Driver to you!
