Tiger will not Challenge McIlroy

All of us may know Rory McIlroy won the 2011 US Open, then golf has a new superstar now in Rory McIlroy, but how much more exciting next week’s Open Championship would have been with Tiger Woods there to challenge him.
Do you what to watch Tiger Woods Vs Rory McIlroy? It is not going to happen now. Tiger Woods will not play in British Open. In this article, I would like to talk something about Tiger Woods with the British Open. If you want to get golf clubs reviews, you may read this article about Callaway X24 HOT Irons for sale in my blog.
The former world number one, down to 17th in the rankings and about to fall even further, has decided not to take the gamble he did at Sawgrass in May.
Injured at Augusta, he chose to try out his knee and Achilles in the Players Championship on May 12, but limped to the turn in 42 shots – only one off the worst nine-hole score of his career – and withdrew.
That is the last seen of him on a golf course. Indeed he revealed last week that he had not swung a club since, so his withdrawal yesterday came as no surprise.
Eight years ago at Royal St George’s he lost a ball with his opening drive and started with a triple-bogey seven. Open fans are not going to have the chance to see if he can improve on that.
It ought to be remembered that he came back from that to finish joint fourth, just two shots behind shock winner Ben Curtis.
He was the biggest thing in golf back then – by some distance – and he remains the biggest name. Not just for golfing reasons, of course, after all the stories about his serial infidelity that emerged following a bizarre car crash outside his home in the early hours in November 2009.
But the sport no longer needs him as much as it did. McIlroy is the new kid on the block – and what a kid judging by the way he came back from his 80 at the Masters with a performance at Congressional that reminded so many people of Woods at his most dominant.
Hopefully there will be duels to come between the young Northern Irishman and the 35-year-old American.
There is still hope that Woods can not only become fit again, but become a force again – maybe never to the extent he was, but possibly to challenge Jack Nicklaus’ 18-major record.

A Review of Good TaylorMade Fairway Woods

For most golfers, it is important to own good golf clubs; and any golfer may know that the drivers and woods are probably the most important clubs in the bag and everybody loves them. Do you know why?
When you play golf game, mainly used for longer shots, drivers are usually the first club out of the bag on the tee. Some advanced golfers, however, may decide to use a driver off the fairway is they need a little extra distance. A fairway or metal wood is also used off the tee if you need a more accurate shot or you don’t need as much distance as you would get with a driver. The golf fairway wood is also important for any golfer.
Fairway woods are usually considered the most reliable golf club and seem to be a favorite because they tend to make you look better than you really are. This is a club that is evolving slowly but should definitely have a place in your bag. A fairway wood usually improves a golfer’s accuracy and allows him to loft the ball higher. In this article, I would recommend the good TaylorMade golf - TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood to you.
Released by TaylorMade, the R9 Fairway Wood is the first fairway wood to feature Flight Control Technology (FCT) that allows you to change the face angle, loft and lie of the club in eight different changes. A total of 36 yards potential trajectory change allowing you to select your preferred ball flight and shot shape whether it’s a high draw or a low fade and even straight give you total control over your game.
A new classic clubhead shape combines super-high MOI (moment of inertia) and easy-launching CG (center of gravity) position while Fujikura Motore 70-gram shaft with High Inertia Tip (H.I.T.) Technology promotes faster ball speed. Arguably the best fairway wood on the market today, Taylormade has a winner here with this one.
Once you have a general understanding of when and why you need to use a certain type of club, there are still many decisions to make before actually making a purchase!
