The World of Golf Is Green

The World of Golf Is Green

Today, golf is a great sport enjoyed by millions of people around the world. So, this is a crazy golf world, and the world of golf is green!
Do you know what is meaning? Read this article carefully, you may find the answer. If you are looking to purchase good golf clubs, I would like to recommend the Mizuno golf - mizuno MX 700 driver for sale to you!
THE world of golf is green … with envy! How does a tiny island like Ireland produce three golfers capable of winning five of the last 16 Majors? And the ‘New Tiger’ to boot! In the absence of the injured Tiger Woods, US Open history-maker Rory McIlroy is the bookies’ favourite for next week’s British Open in Sandwich.
For 60 years, Fred Daly’s win at the 1947 British Open was Ireland’s solitary success on the Major championship stage — then, incredibly, three champions came in quick succession. “They build us tough in Ireland,” quips 2010 US Open winner Graeme McDowell. “It’s our golf courses and the coaching programmes put in place by the Golfing Union of Ireland (GUI). It’s whatever way they build us in Ireland.”
Holywood star McIlroy surmises: “I think it starts with the people. Golf is very accessible in Ireland and, obviously, there are a lot of great golf courses.
“The GUI helped me growing up and throughout my amateur career. They enabled me to play in different places around the world, learn about different conditions and different cultures, which really prepared me for coming out on Tour.”
Yet there’s more to it than that. For a start, McIlroy, who may like the MX 700 driver, was born with a rare talent, which was nurtured lovingly by his parents, Gerry and Rosie, and then honed by his swing coach since childhood, PGA professional Michael Bannon.
The path McIlroy (22) took to Major glory is shorter and infinitely more dramatic than those followed by older compatriots Harrington and McDowell.
McIlroy’s mature acceptance of his implosion at Augusta as a learning experience and his ability to sift reams of advice in its wake and produce a winning formula at Congressional was utterly astonishing.
While the environment fostered by the GUI and golf clubs without question played its part in their stunning development, the success enjoyed by McIlroy, Harrington and McDowell is founded principally on their own intelligence.
There’s no doubt that the most important fairway in golf remains the six inches between each player’s ears.
